  1. New website launched

    Welcome to the new Entacore website! We have rebuilt the site from the ground up with a fresh look, a streamlined shop where you can order the AIM series directly with PayPal, and a reworked downloads section for firmware, software and manuals.   2. AIM XTRA 4.2 hardware released

    The AIM XTRA 4.2 is here! This hardware revision brings an improved gyro and accelerometer for even more accurate flight data, and moves to USB C for easier connection with modern computers and cables.

  3. AIM USB 4 released

    The new AIM USB 4 has been released! It is 100k feet capable and features 40 amp ejection transistors as well as a tiny 65 mm x 25 mm PCB. The unit also includes a micro USB cable used with most modern phones.

  4. AIM XTRA 2.02 released

    The new AIM XTRA 2.02 has been released. Included in the hardware upgrade is the MAX8Q GPS module - an incredibly accurate and sensitive GPS receiver. The new unit has much faster acquisition and improved lock!

  5. AIM XTRA 2.0 released

    The new AIM XTRA 2.0 has been released! With its amazing RF transceiver system and sensor platform, this is the ultimate flight computer for small and large rocket projects.

  6. AIM USB 3.0 released

    The new AIM USB 3.0 has been released. It has plenty of new features including battery voltage and temperature recording, and it is also smaller than the AIM USB 2.0.

  7. New AIM USB firmware

    A new firmware version (2.02) has been released for the AIM USB. Some bugs have been fixed in this release and it is recommended that you update your units to this new version.

  8. AIM XTRA launched

    After more than 2 years of development, the AIM XTRA is here. It is a complete GPS tracking solution for rocket and other specialist applications, and the first commercial flight computer to use doppler readings for ejections and vertical velocity.

  9. ADTV elevator sensor

    Cooperating with ADTV (Israel), Entacore produced an advanced elevator sensor capable of determining floor levels without communicating with the building's elevator interface. This was achieved with inertial sensors and infra-red reflectors.

  10. AIM XTRA doppler ejection

    We completed a doppler ejection test with the AIM XTRA. To perform the ejection at apogee, the XTRA used doppler shift information from the GPS satellites to determine accurate velocity (+- 0.5 m/s). We believe this is a first for a commercial model rocket flight computer.

  11. Apogee Components features AIM USB

    Apogee Components (USA) added the AIM USB rocket altimeter to its list of products.

  12. New AIM USB firmware released

    A new firmware version (1.42) has been released for the AIM USB 1.2 altimeter, which increases the accuracy of the altitude beep-outs after launch.

  13. ASR tests the AIM USB

    Aerospace Research (ASR) has performed a number of successful launches with our AIM USB altimeter. They are a leading supplier of amateur and HPR rocket equipment and stock our AIM USB.

  14. AIM USB product launch

    Our AIM USB altimeter is complete! Over 20 test flights have been done with a variety of igniters and rocket motors, all performing flawlessly.

  15. First commercial test

    The first commercial version was tested today - once again a complete success. The downloaded profile looks great.

  16. Successful first test

    Today was the first test of the beta commercial release. Complete success - both chutes were deployed correctly.

  17. Basic hardware complete

    The basic hardware design is now complete for our altimeter, which we have called AIM USB. The user has full access to all the data on the device as well as user defined settings.

  18. Rocket altimeter planned

    We are planning to design and create an altimeter for rocket enthusiasts, reducing cost while adding features not usually found in commodity rocket altimeters.
