The vehicle used a 54 mm L class motor to reach Mach 3.05 and 39,125 feet per the GPS - well in excess of the current NAR/TRA L altitude record. The AIM XTRA 4.2 is here! This hardware revision brings an improved gyro and accelerometer for even more accurate flight data, and moves to USB C for easier connection with modern computers and cables.
The new AIM USB 4 has been released! It is 100k feet capable and features 40 amp ejection transistors as well as a tiny 65 mm x 25 mm PCB. The unit also includes a micro USB cable used with most modern phones.
